We are a non governmental foundation, with no profit motive in mind, created in 1986, with legal status and administrative autonomy, subject to the regime provided by the law.

We work for the poorest, defenceless and vulnerable child population with programmes for nutritional recovery, in order to avoid irreversible learning difficulties during the development of children.

We attend to expectant mothers, children on milk diet and between 1 and 12 years in state of undernourishment or at the risk of it, all of them from social strata 1 and 2. Currently the number of beneficiaries with our own economic resources adds up to 3.800 located in 21 restaurants. It is estimated that the problem affects more than 40.000 children of the city.

As an enterprise of social service, modern and efficient, we have all the necessary development areas to accomplish our objective. Our philosophy is the Continuous Improvement.

To decrease the levels of undernourishment in our primary population through the supply of complementary nourishment and nutritional education , contributing to the physical and intellectual improvement of the children of the most depressed sectors. In the same manner carrying out social programmes to promote the integral development of the family, based on an efficient management of the consecution and use of resources.

Up to 2008, we will be a leader organization in the management of subjects related to nutrition, undernourishment and malnutrition. We will advise and offer services in those subjects, generating resources, and by means of their efficient and effective administration, we will contribute to the financing of the programmes carried out by the foundation.
