All the neighbourhoods of the towns in which the restaurants are located are from social strata 1 and 2 corresponding to the poorest and most vulnerable population of the city. Many of them were born as invasion neighbourhoods and in time became housing and selfbuiliding programmes of social interest,, however many houses are still in bad conditions , and the situation gets worse during winter time due to the characteristic slopes of the city. They present deficiencies in the state of the components of public spaces such as green spaces, sidewalks, parks, etc. They undergo a great social decomposition, and their predominant problems are drug addiction, violence inside and outside homes, single mothers at early age, lack of education, prostitution, unemployment, children staying alone in hostile environments, among others. The economic basis of this population is sustained in the informal economy, being it the only means of support of the biggest percentage of their inhabitants.
